This project contains a series of three fabrics, printed with an identical dotted grid. Each fabric has a very different pattern, eventhough the silkscreened grid is the same in each fabric and all three patterns follow the dots of the grid.
In each fabric I created three patterns within the two dimensional surface of the textile: a front, a back, and a joint view. These three patterns change throughout the day depending on the direction of light. When light shines on the textile you see a different pattern then when light shines through it.
I focused on balancing order and chaos, randomness and consistency, intuition and rules. Because the visuals of this serie changes according to light, as the sun rises and sets, it brings me back into understanding that there are times that are different; that have a different quality.
